Everything Orlando car owners ask about marine — honest answers, no upsell.
What watercraft do you detail?
Personal watercraft (Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner, Kawasaki), bass boats, center consoles, pontoons, bowriders, wakeboard boats, cabin cruisers, and yachts up to 60 feet. Marine-grade products on every surface.
Do you detail at marinas, docks, or trailers?
All three. Orlando marinas (with COIs as needed), boat lifts on the Butler Chain and Lake Conway, trailers in your driveway, dry storage facilities. Flexibility is part of mobile marine work.
Are your products safe for gelcoat and marine vinyl?
Yes. Gelcoat needs different polishing compounds than automotive clear coat — automotive products can damage it. We use marine-grade polishes, UV-stable vinyl conditioners, and marine waxes/sealants designed for saltwater and Florida sun.
How much does boat detailing cost?
Custom-quoted based on length, condition, and scope. Jetski wash + wax: $150–$250. 25ft center console full detail with hull polish: $600–$1,200. Larger yachts scoped individually.
Do you offer ceramic coating for boats?
Yes. Marine ceramic for gelcoat extends UV, saltwater, and waterline algae protection for 2–5 years. Worth it for boats stored on lifts in direct sun.
How often should I detail my boat?
Active-use boats: wash + wax every 2–3 months, full detail twice a year. Covered or dry-stored boats stretch further. Ceramic-coated boats need maintenance washing but less frequent full detailing.
How much does jetski detailing cost in Orlando?
Jetski wash + wax: $150–$250 per ski. Personal watercraft full detail with hull polish: $250–$450. Includes gelcoat-safe wash, vinyl seat cleaning, plastic UV protection, and storage prep. Most boats are scoped on length and condition.
How much does boat detailing cost in Orlando?
Boat detailing starts around $25–$50 per linear foot for wash and wax. Hull polish + ceramic coating adds $40–$80 per foot. A 25-foot center console full detail typically $600–$1,200. Yachts and cabin cruisers quoted individually.
Do you detail boats at marinas in Orlando?
Yes — at marinas with COIs as needed, at boat lifts on Butler Chain and Lake Conway, at trailers in your driveway, and at dry storage facilities. We use marine-grade products and don't leave runoff that would violate marina or HOA rules.
Can you detail a Sea-Doo or Yamaha WaveRunner?
Yes. Personal watercraft (Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner, Kawasaki) get marine-grade gelcoat wash, vinyl seat conditioning, and UV-protective polish. We service at your home, dock, or storage facility.
How often should I detail my boat in Florida?
Active-use boats benefit from a wash and wax every 2–3 months and a full detail twice a year. Saltwater boats need more frequent attention. Boats stored covered or in dry storage can stretch further. Ceramic-coated boats need less frequent full detailing.
Do you offer ceramic coating for boats and jet skis?
Yes. Marine-grade ceramic coating designed for gelcoat lasts 2–5 years depending on use, exposure, and tier. Worth it for boats stored on lifts in direct Florida sun. Quoted by length and condition.
Is Drip Mobile Detailing insured?
Yes. Drip Mobile Detailing carries full general liability insurance and is bonded. We provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) on request — required by some gated communities, HOAs, marinas, and commercial fleet contracts in Orlando.
Do you bring your own water and power?
Yes. We are fully self-contained. We arrive with our own water tank, water-recovery system, generator, and all detailing products. You don't need to provide a hose, an outlet, or anything else — just a parking spot. We can detail in driveways, condos, parking garages, and gated communities.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, and cash. Invoices are sent on completion. For commercial fleet contracts and ceramic coating jobs, we also accept ACH and bank wire.
How far in advance should I book?
Most Orlando appointments are booked 2–5 days out. We often have same-day or next-day availability for standard washes and exterior details. Ceramic coatings and multi-day paint correction jobs typically require 7–10 days lead time so we can schedule the right weather window.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. If you're not satisfied with any part of the detail, we'll come back and re-do it free of charge — typically within 24–48 hours. Ceramic coatings carry manufacturer warranties (5–10 years depending on product) tied to your VIN and registered to your name.
Do you detail in the rain or heat?
We work year-round in Orlando. Light rain doesn't stop us — we set up portable canopies. Heavy rain or thunderstorms get rescheduled at no charge. We schedule ceramic coatings and paint correction during low-humidity windows, often early morning, to maximize cure quality.
Can you detail my car at an apartment, condo, or office?
Yes. We routinely detail at apartment complexes, condos (with HOA permission), office parking lots, and parking garages across Orlando — Lake Nona, Dr. Phillips, Winter Park, Maitland, Baldwin Park, downtown, and beyond. We bring our own water and operate quietly without runoff.
Do I need to be home during the detail?
No. Most clients leave us a key or garage code and head to work. We send before/after photos and a text when finished. For exotic vehicles or ceramic coating projects we recommend being available at the end for the walk-through.
